UNIX: BSDI 2.1, Linux (Slackware [CD and Internet], RedHat,
S.u.S.E., Debian), SunOs 4.1.x, Solaris 2.x, HP-UX 9.x,
HP-UX 10.x.

MS: DOS, Win 3.11, Win 95, Win NT.

PROTOCOLS: TCP/IP (every day), X.25 (a long time ago), RS-232
(I can get it to work).

PROGRAMS: bind/named, sendmail, telnet, ftp, nfs, just about
everything Networking and Unix, TIS Firewall.  HylaFax,
GIMP, Procmail, some SmartList, OpenMail, MS Mail, some
MS Exchange, some N-Plex, some EMX SoftSwitch.

HARDWARE: Intel Based PC Servers/Workstations, Sun and HP
fileservers and workstations. Sinclair QL (68000).
Can build a PC from a box of parts while you eat your lunch.
Can troubleshoot/fix just about any type of hardware. Have
for example repaired a side scanning sonar for the Uppsala
University a few times, a device worth more than 1/2 million
dollars. Have experience with underwater electronics and
have helped develop patented underwater equipment. Can scuba-
dive in icy open sea conditions. I fix things. Can build
electronic devices.

LANGUAGES: Perl/CGI, Shell, HTML, C++, C, 68000 assembler
and a number of basic dialects. Can program in hex...

Dates: Aug 1997 - Present
Position: "Mailgroup"
Responsibilities: SMTP E-Mail and gatewaying to other
mailsystems in a network with about 70 customer-companies
and solving problems at customers too.  One in a group of
eight.  Many mailsystems, on Win 95 and NT platforms.
N-PLEX mailswitch on NT.  Microsoft Mail.  Microsoft
Exchange, EMX SoftSwitch, OpenMail, Sendmail, etc, etc.
We handle any mailsystem the customers have installed,
and that is quite a few....


RSV DataService

Dates: Jan 1995 - Jul 1997
Position: "Unix Specialist"
Responsibilities: SMTP E-Mail and gatewaying to other
mailsystems. DNS. Kept installed GNU software "happy and
updated", we used a number of these, emacs, perl, TCL/Tk, etc.
Assist Platform Developers as well as daily maintenance
personnel with technical expertice or "saving the day".
RSV has about 80 unix systems scattered across Sweden and
about 15,000 end users on a PC Platform. About 200 Unix
developers, and a little group of "Unix Specialists", less
than 10.


Ericsson Telecom AB

Dates: 1979 - 1994
Position: 1979-84: Test engineer, Telecom Electronics.
Responsibilities: Technical support to Printed Circuit
manufacturing and testing. Programming and construction of
test fixtures.
Position: 1984-88: Component Engineer, Telecom Integrated
Circuits.
Responsibilities: Programming and construction of test fixtures.
Internal Certification of components for use by Ericsson.
Position: 1988-89: Software and Hardware Engineer.
Responsibilities: Build an AXE lab for use by other projects.
Learn Unix and Internet. Learn C. Learn professional
programming.
Position: 1989-91: Systemer/Programmer, Unix, sockets, X.25.
Responsibilities: As a member of a small team develop an API
in the Unix environment, with X11 GUI, for terminal and file-
transfer connectivity to the AXE-10 telephone exchange central
processor using C++. 
Position: 1991-94: System Administration, Unix.
Responsibilities: Total Unix system administration for a small
site with 65 Unix (Sun) workstations for software developers.
Also a few file servers, also Sun. Building and maintaining the
X (OpenLook)  standard login-environments for the developers.

Notes
-----

Good work ethic. Can and often do telecommute. That's how I
was able to run the show in Houston, Texas from Farsta Strand,
Stockholm.  My first language is Swedish, but I often prefer
English on account of the larger vocabulary -- English has got
more words than Swedish, English can be used to express more
shades of meaning than my own language! Swedish overloads
meaning in fewer words, much like objects are overloaded in
object oriented programming. I can read German very slowly and
sometimes understand spoken German.
